Matters need attention:
When arranging the Steering Pump, it is necessary to consider that there is no trapped air in the pump body, and take exhaust measures if necessary. To exhaust air from the Steering System, it is generally sufficient to exhaust air at the oil outlet of the steering pump. The specific method is to loosen the oil outlet connector when the engine is not rotating, and then tighten it when there is oil leakage. At this time, start the engine, pull the steering wheel left and right, and all the air will be discharged into the oil storage tank and discharged into the air through a respirator.
Special hydraulic connectors shall be used for the inlet and outlet of the steering pump and steering gear. When matching, attention shall be paid to the joint passage area, which shall meet the minimum pipe diameter area requirements of the pipeline.
"The steering pump joint should be sealed with an O-ring as much as possible, and it is not allowed to apply sealant to the joint during connection.". The sealing form of the joint shall match the sealing form of the oil inlet and outlet of the steering pump. The O-ring sealing form shall be selected for the angle seal, and the sealing form of composite sealing washer+copper nut shall be used for the steering pump joint of the end face seal.
