Electronic hydraulic power steering
The structural principle of electronic hydraulic power assistance is generally the same as that of mechanical hydraulic power assistance, with the biggest difference being the different driving methods used to provide hydraulic oil pumps. The hydraulic pump of mechanical hydraulic assistance is directly driven by the engine belt, while the electronic hydraulic assistance uses an electronic pump driven by electricity.
The electronic hydraulic assisted electronic pump does not consume the power of the engine itself, and the electronic pump is controlled by the electronic system. When steering is not required, the electronic pump is turned off, further reducing energy consumption. The electronic control unit of the electronic hydraulic power Steering System utilizes information processing on sensors such as the vehicle speed sensor and the steering angle sensor, and can change the power of the steering assistance by changing the flow rate of the electronic pump.
