Internal gear pump is widely used. It is characterized by compact structure, strong self priming ability, small flow fluctuation, and low noise. It mainly consists of a driving gear, a driven gear, a pump housing, and a pump cover. The driven gear is an internal gear ring, and there is a crescent shaped partition in the gear groove of the pump body, which separates the meshing parts of the driving and driven gears, forming two working cavities, high pressure and low pressure, to ensure the normal operation of the oil pump. The inner ring of the driving gear has two symmetrical convex keys that are installed in the keyway of the hydraulic torque converter pump wheel protruding from the shaft end. Therefore, as long as the engine rotates, the hydraulic torque converter drives the driving gear to rotate, making the oil pump in the oil supply state. The spline extending from the shaft end of the pump cover is connected to the one-way clutch of the guide wheel in the hydraulic torque converter, and the pump body and cover are fixed to the housing of the automatic transmission with bolts. The gear in the gear pump is the most widely used oil pump in automatic transmissions, and is used in various Toyota automatic transmissions. It is characterized by compact structure, small volume, light weight, strong self priming ability, small flow fluctuation, and low noise. It consists of a pinion, an internal gear, a crescent shaped separator, a pump casing, a pump cover, and the like. The pinion is driven by a shaft sleeve at the rear of the torque converter housing, and the internal gear is a driven gear. The function of the crescent shaped separator is to divide the working chamber into an oil suction chamber and an oil pressure chamber. The pump casing is provided with an oil inlet and an oil outlet. When the engine is running, the pinion drives the internal gear to rotate clockwise. In the oil suction cavity, due to the continuous separation of the gears, the volume increases, forming a vacuum oil suction; In the oil pressure chamber, due to the continuous meshing of the gears, the volume decreases, and the hydraulic pressure is pumped out. When the oil pump is working, its driving gear drives the driven gear to rotate, and the volume of the gear tooth detachment point (oil suction chamber) continuously increases, generating vacuum suction. Hydraulic oil is sucked into the oil pump through the filter screen from the oil pan, and the gear teeth enter the engagement end (oil pressure chamber). As a result, the volume continuously decreases, the oil pressure rises, and the oil pressure is pumped out of the oil pump. The oil pump keeps rotating, providing a certain pressure and flow of hydraulic oil for the hydraulic automatic control system.
