Hydraulic Power Steering Pump with High Quality

Hydraulic Power Steering Pump with High Quality

Refers to the ratio of the steering wheel steering degree to the wheel steering degree. For example, if rotating the steering wheel once (360 degrees) causes the wheels to turn 20 degrees, the steering gear ratio is equal to 360 divided by 20, or 18:1. The higher the ratio, the greater the amount of steering wheel rotation required to steer the wheels to a specified distance. However, due to the high transmission ratio, the force required to rotate the steering wheel will be reduced. Generally speaking, the steering transmission ratio of light vehicles and sports vehicles is smaller than that of large vehicles and trucks. The lower the ratio, the faster the steering response. You only need to rotate the steering wheel slightly to make the wheels turn to the specified distance. This is the characteristic that sports cars dream of. Because these small cars are very light, their ratios are low, and turning the steering wheel is not too difficult. Some cars use a variable gear ratio Steering System, in which the center and outside of a rack and pinion gear set have different tooth pitches (number of teeth per centimeter). This not only improves the response speed of the vehicle when turning (the rack is close to the center position), but also reduces the force exerted by the wheels when approaching the steering limit.

Precautions for use and maintenance of hydraulic Power Steering Pump
    1. Correctly select the grade of hydraulic oil used, otherwise it will affect the efficiency and life of the pump.
    2. The hydraulic oil used must be clean, check frequently, and replace the oil filter on the oil suction road of the oil pump regularly.
When the driver is refueling, he must be equipped with a filter device to ensure the cleanliness of the oil. And check, clean or replace the filter device frequently to keep the oil passage unblocked.
    3. If the Steering Pump is not used for a long time, it should not work at full load immediately when restarting, and there should be at least ten minutes of no-load running time.
