Steering Pump Oil Leak
Fault Symptoms: Frequent addition of steering oil, oil stains at various connections of the steering oil pump, oil stains at the oil cup.
Inspection and Analysis: Check the steering oil level to determine if too much steering oil has been added. When the oil level is below the specified value, steering oil should be replenished in a timely manner, and the oil level must not exceed the oil level mark on the oil cup cover or the highest indication mark on the oil cup. Check if the oil pipes and pipe joints in the system are loose, and if there are cracks or other faults in the pipes.
Solution: Clean the external parts of the oil pump, oil cup, oil pipe, or related connections to determine if there is an oil leak or excessive filling. If there is too much or too little filling, it should be corrected. If there is a leak, replace the corresponding parts and tighten them to the specified torque. If the pump body or oil cup is leaking, replace it with a new power steering pump.
