OEM quality power steering pump

OEM quality power steering pump

Currently, the automotive steering pump is mostly a double-acting vane type steering pump, mainly composed of a standard double-acting vane pump, a flow control valve, and a pressure safety valve; the double-acting vane pump provides high-pressure oil. The flow control valve ensures that the steering pump outputs a flow suitable for the vehicle's needs. The pressure safety valve controls the maximum output pressure of the steering pump. For gasoline engines with lower power, a pressure switch should also be equipped.

    Steering Pump
You can find the steering pump attached to the car engine, usually next to the car alternator and air conditioning compressor. We connect the steering pump to the engine using a pulley mechanism driven by the engine belt.
When your car engine is running, the engine belt rotates in a cycle, also turning the steering pump. This way, the pump draws steering fluid from the reservoir and pressurizes it.
How do they do it? Well, I don't want to overwhelm you with all the little details, but if you're interested in learning more, we will soon have an article about steering pumps. For now, think of the steering pump as a black box. We put low-pressure steering fluid in, and high-pressure steering fluid comes out the other end.
Hydraulic Power Steering System uses steering pump.
This high-pressure steering fluid then leaves the steering pump and enters the steering rack through the steering hose, specifically into the rotary valve.
