      1. The power steering pump is the power source of the hydraulic power steering system. It uses the engine as the transmission medium to convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. The hydraulic oil output by the oil pump converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy through the steering gear, thereby reducing the driver's operating intensity and improving the maneuverability of the whole vehicle;
      2. The internal pressure of the power steering pipeline is controlled by the pressure safety valve to ensure the safety of the steering system;

    Causes and Troubleshooting
      The oil level in the oil tank drops rapidly, and hydraulic oil leaks severely.
    Cause of Failure
      1. Damage to the connecting pipes in various parts, loose connections, and leakage.
      2. The oil tank is damaged.
      3. The steering gear oil seal is damaged.
      4. The oil seal of the booster pump is damaged, causing hydraulic oil to flow into the engine oil pan.
    Remedial Measures
      1. Check all connecting oil pipes and joints.
      2. Replace the oil tank.
      3. Remove the steering gear and replace the oil seal.
      4. Repair the booster pump and replace the oil seal.
      When such faults are found, stop the machine in time to prevent hydraulic oil from mixing with engine oil, causing oil deterioration and damaging the engine crankshaft.
