Working principle of vane type steering oil pump
When the rotor rotates clockwise, the blades adhere to the inner surface of the stator under the action of centrifugal force and high-pressure oil. Its working volume starts to increase from small to large, and oil is sucked in from the oil suction port; Then the working volume changes from large to small, compressing the oil and supplying oil outwards through the pressure oil port. Because each working chamber sucks and presses oil twice each time the rotor rotates, this type of vane pump is called a double acting vane pump. The double acting vane pump has two oil suction zones and two oil discharge zones, and their respective center angles are symmetrical, so the oil pressure acting on the rotor is balanced against each other. Therefore, this type of oil pump is also known as an unloading vane pump.

The use and maintenance of the steering gear booster pump is particularly important, therefore, the following must be done:
1. The correct selection of hydraulic oil is the key to ensure high efficiency and prolong the life of the booster pump.
2. Regularly check the oil level of the oil storage tank. If it is insufficient, clean hydraulic oil should be replenished in time. The filter element in the oil storage tank should be cleaned with alcohol during maintenance.
3. If leakage, impact or abnormal noise is found in the steering gear booster pump during use, it should be checked and eliminated in time.
4. After the vehicle has been running for a period of time, the hydraulic oil filter elements should be replaced in time, especially after the new pump is installed and used for 2500-3000 kilometers, the hydraulic oil should be replaced.
